DIAS, Amicia Rodrigues - Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Extendicare Tendercare Nursing Home on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Joaquim for 61 years. Loving mother of Jose Dias (Christy), Maria Lopes (Hermen), Manuel Dias (Lynn), Lucy Vilaca (Joaquim), Vasco Dias (Susan), Tony Dias (Trevor Fielder), Isabel Muise (Steve), John Dias (Christina) and Carlos Dias (Carlee). Cherished grandmother (Avó) of 21, great grandmother (Avό) of 8. Predeceased by her parents Joaquina and João Rebelo. Dear sister of Serafin Rebelo and Victor Rebelo of Portugal. Dear sister-in-law of Jose Dias of British Columbia and the late Maria Dias of Portugal. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends are invited to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) for a visitation on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Chapel at 10 a.m. with Father Pat Woods officiating.
