Obituary of Virginia Ford

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Virginia Stephania Ford (nee Simon). After a courageous battle with cancer, Virginia passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26 at the age of 71. Loving mother to Susan (Ross Marowits), devoted Momka to Connor. Daughter of the late Karol and Rosalia Simon. Dear sister of Rose Pistor (Lino), George Simon, Joseph Simon, Bernadette Hilderley (Roy), Janis Schnablegger (Walter), late Mary Ribic (late Joe), late Herbert Simon (late Shirley), late Karl Simon (Ann), late Stanley Simon (Rosalie). Virginia will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Virginia's life will be held at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 705-942-7758) on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. At Virginia's request, in lieu of flowers, donations to Make A Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
