Obituary of Rosa Carchidi

It is with great sorrow and sadness to announce the passing of a dear wife, mother and Nonna on Friday, October 4, 2013 just before her 77th birthday. Wonderful wife of 53 years to Frank. Precious mother to Ralph (Bonnie), Sam (Rina), Joe (Bev), Nancy Romano (Domenic), John (Pina) and Maria Guido (Mike). A loving Nonna to Frankie Sr. (Deanna), Rosemary, Frank Jr (Amanda), Anthony, Jordan, Ida-Marie, Joey, Nicole, Carlo, Dori-Anna, Jon-Carlo, Angelo, Brianna, Vanessa and Samantha. Predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Maria Teresa Foglia. Sister to the late John Foglia (Maria), late Maria Mangone (late Sam), late Peter Foglia (Luisa), late Antonio Foglia (Angelina). Special sister to Guiseppina Iaconis (Luigi), Carmen Foglia (Antonietta), Isabella Sucura (Vittoria) from Italy. Daughter-in-law of the late Raffaele and Annuziata Carchidi. Very special sister-in-law to Dominic and Theresa Carchidi, and also many Carchidi-in-laws from Italy. Zia to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family. We would like to thank the 300C nurses for being so kind and helpful to our mother every time she went in. Thank you to We Care and CCAC, especially Mary, Jennifer and Dolly, and all the girls who came to help to get her ready for the day or night when she was home.
