Obituary of Sergio Fabbro

FABBRO, Sergio - It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Sergio Quinto Fabbro (Mr. Wonderful). With his family by his side, Sergio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Much loved husband of 56 years and soulmate of Sarah. Predeceased by his parents Alfio and Amelia and his in-laws William and Eda Adamo. Loving, devoted father of Karen Fabbro-Cobb (Bruce) and Sergio Jr. (Ann Marie). Loving, idolized Grampy of Jordan, Kelsey, Jamie and Jessica. Sergio adored his two brothers the late Albis (late Vera) and Nilo (Janet). Brother-in-law of Peter Adamo (Cyndie), Cecilia St. Germain (James), late Eugene Adamo and Edith Nichols (Jerry). Special nephew to Stella DiPasquale (late Johnny) and late Teresa and Charlie Tadashore. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sergio loved spending time with his many friends. Family and friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, February 21, 2011 from 11 a.m. until time of the memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Monsignor Victor Amadio and Monsignor Norm Clement officiating. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer society or the St. Jerome Parish building fund would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
