WOOD, J. Gord R.C.A.F. Veteran WWII - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the Ontario Finnish Rest Home, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Beloved husband of Jill Wood. Loving Dad of Richard (Jacqueline) and Cyndy Howman. Dear gramps of Samantha, Alexander, Julia and Marshall. Fondly remembered by his sister Barbara Yates (Hack) and brother Jeff Wood. At Gord's request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation will take place. Memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Rest Home would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff of the Ontario Finnish Rest Home for the loving care given. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, Sault Ste. Marie, ON 705-945-7758).
