STANLEY, Fredrick Everette - Born June 9, 1948 in Baudette, Minnesota. Predeceased by his parents William and Metta. Fred moved to Sault Ste. Marie in May of 1970. Peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his wife and best friend Mary (Marshall) by his side. Loving father of Timothy (Victoria) and cherished Grampa of Lauren and Timothy Jr. of Orlando, Florida, his loving extended family Deborah Walstrom (Gary), Rebecca Canuel (Trevor) of B.C. and Michael Marshall (Julie) of Cambridge, Ontario. Dearly loved brother of Dolores Torgeson, late Virgie Sindler (late Stan), late Earl, late Lois Mae Hanson (Carl), Joyce Nuss, late Dennis (Ellen), Ernest (Judy) of Tennessee, Martha Jane Thomson (Wally) of Sault Ste. Marie, Annette Johnson (Richard) of Baudette, Minnesota and the late Van. Fred was that special uncle to many loved nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to Gerald Malleau (Donna), Eleanor Hodgkinson (late Harold) of Sault Ste. Marie, Noreen Doughty (late Ross) of Guelph, Ontario. He will be truly missed by so very many great friends. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 11 a.m. until time for funeral and committal service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
