Obituary of Francesco Palumbo

PALUMBO, Francesco Vincenzo "Frank" - Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital Plummer Site on Monday, February 28, 2011 in his 74th year with his beloved wife of 50 years Rita by his side. Dear son of the late Salvatore and Agatha Palumbo. Loving father of Sam Palumbo (Charlene), John Palumbo (Lynne) and Lisa Carlucci (Sandy). Nonno of Nicholas, Michael, Adam, Cameron and Christina Palumbo and Vanessa Carlucci. Frank will be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters the late Peter Palumbo, Rose Brescacin (late Gino), Emma Turco (Luciano), Franca Orlando (Rinaldo) and Luigi Palumbo (Silvana). Son-in-law of the late Salvatore and Finuzza Mancuso. Brother-in-law of Joe Mancuso and Maria Miceli (Luigi). Special uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 12 noon with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
