Obituary of Irene Cosby

COSBY, Irene Mary - With her family by her side Irene passed away at ARCH on Tuesday, March 7, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Percy Robinson and the late Stanley Cosby. Dear mother of Shirley Roy and Marjorie Jones. Grandmother of Monica, Danny, Billy, David and Teresa. Great grandmother of Jamie Lee, Jasmine, Ryley, Natasha, Chris, Marissa, Alex, Erica, Tyson, Nik, Gage and Logan. Predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary Lanigan. Sister of the late Evelyn Gaudet, Patrick Lanigan, Marie Johnston, June Adams, Michael Lanigan, Robert Lanigan, Dorothy Ann Armstrong, Patricia Tresanut, "little Jimmy", Sharon Kearns, late Shirley Lanigan and the late Marjorie Jerry. Irene will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment in the spring at Goulais River Cemetery. Memorial donations to ARCH or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
