Obituary of Giuseppina Buffone

BUFFONE, Giuseppina 'Pina' After a lengthy illness and a courageous battle, the Lord peacefully called our Angel on Earth on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Francesco. Loving mother of Lou (Carla), John (Charlotte), Franca (John) and Andy (Christina). Devoted Nanni to Adam, Jessica, Lucas, Taylor, Michael, Anthony and Nyah. Dear sister of Rosaria Zagordo (late Garofolo), late Joe Spina (Emma) and Frank Spina (Eda). Sister- in-law of Rosaria Pedatella (Emilio). Predeceased by her parents Antonio and Elvira Spina and mother-in-law Francesca Buffone. Special Zia of many nieces and nephews. Pina will be sadly missed by all her close west-end friends, and the wonderful and caring staff at the Great Northern Nursing Centre and the F.J. Davey Home. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Veronica's Church at 1 p.m. with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Donations to the Sault Area Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family. Mom, you taught us how to forgive and how to love unconditionally. You are the best mom this world will ever see and we will miss you dearly.
