We had the great privilege of knowing Edna (and Arthur) when we ministered at the Sault Ste. Marie Free Methodist Church. My memories of Edna are of a godly woman who was an encourager with her faith, smiles, songs and prayers. I also remember that Edna was the only person I could never beat at checkers. Your family are in our prayers as you say goodbye to Edna today. I know the last years have been difficult but I also know she is now rejoicing with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. May God comfort you today.
We are thinking fondly of our dear Aunt Edna as we all have just great memories of times spent with her. She and Dad were very close and our families reached out to each other whenever possible through the years. We are sad knowing that she is gone and we will not ever be able to see her again on earth but we are glad in the knowledge that we will meet again in glory. Our thoughts and our love and our prayers reach out to all of you. Reta (Holmes) and John Desmarais and our sons and family.
