EVANOVITCH, Helen (Mihailiuk) - Fell asleep in death on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the age of 88. Helen was the dear wife of the late George Evanovitch for 50 years. Loving mother of the late Pam Barill (Floyd), Cindy Asa (Tony), and Shelley Jong. Caring grandma of Melissa Cook (Brad), Tiffany Lee (Chris), Tyler Barill, Brittney & Bridgitte Asa, Keana & Kaiya Jong. She was the daughter of the late Nick & Tena Mihailiuk and big sister of Nick Mihailiuk (Marsha), Peggy Sarchuk (Leo), Jerry Mihailiuk (Phyllis), and the late Roger Mihailiuk (Joan). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Helen had many close friends who were like family to her. Her strong faith in God's promise of a resurrection to a paradise on earth soon to come brought her much peace & comfort (Rev. 21:3,4). It brought her joy to share this wonderful hope from the Bible with others. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (742 Third Line East) on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. with Mr. Pat Dawson officiating.
