Cynthia Parniak

Obituary of Cynthia Parniak

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Cindy at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH). She is now in the arms of her Lord and Saviour. She leaves behind to mourn her son Jordan (Alisa), granddaughter Madison (Marie-Jose’e) and grandson Mack. She also leaves behind her daughter, Amanda. Predeceased by her parents Carl and Elva Mageran. Dear sister of Carolyn Chisholm (Walter), Lawrence Mageran (Debbie), Sandy Soule, Debra Spencer (Robert) and Mark Mageran (Mary).

Cindy was a successful real estate agent with Royal LePage Northern Advantage. She was delighted to spend time with her family and friends. She was a nurturing mother and grandmother. Cindy loved to garden, cook, entertain, renovate, paint, make Madison Rose soap, craft, and her Christmas pots were always beautiful.

Cindy was very active in her community in so many ways. She certainly was the best hostess, full of life, laughter and fun. Cindy walked with God. She was a faithful servant to her Lord and Saviour until the end. She was a member of Gateway Church and faithful to their community.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. With Pastor Mike Michalycia officiating.

In lieu of flowers, it was Cindy’s wish that donations be made to ARCH, where Cindy was treated like a “royal queen”. The staff, nurses and volunteers were fabulous. For that, our thank you is unmeasurable.

Into the freedom of wind and sunshine

We let you go!

Into the dance of the stars and planets

We let you go!

Into the wind’s breath and the hands of God.

We let you go!

We love you and miss you.

Go safely, go dancing.

Go RUNNING home.
